The Challenge

Decathlon Sports India Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in sporting goods retail, aimed to establish a new site in Calicut, Kerala. Recognizing the critical importance of environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance, Decathlon engaged the Catalyst Group to conduct comprehensive Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) and Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Phases I & II at the proposed site. This project was crucial for ensuring that the development adhered to all environmental regulations, mitigated risks associated with potential contamination, and promoted sustainable development practices.

The Solution

The primary goal of the project was to ensure the successful and sustainable development of Decathlon Sports’ new site in Calicut, Kerala, through a comprehensive Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) and Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) process.
