Bharat FIH, a subsidiary of FIH Mobile Ltd, a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is India’s leader in manufacturing and services of handsets and wireless communications. Bharat Foxconn International Holdings Ltd (Bharat FIH), a subsidiary of FIH Mobile Ltd and a part of the Foxconn Technology Group, is a leading manufacturer in the wireless communications and handsets industry in India. To enhance its energy efficiency and sustainability, Bharat FIH sought to implement the ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System (EnMS) at its key manufacturing sites in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, and Sricity, Andhra Pradesh. Bharat FIH engaged the Catalyst Group to provide expert guidance and support for the successful implementation and certification of the EnMS.
The primary objectives of the project were to implement a comprehensive Energy Management System (EnMS) in compliance with ISO 50001:2018 across Bharat FIH’s two major manufacturing sites in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, and Sricity, Andhra Pradesh. This implementation aimed to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improving energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance overall operational sustainability.
